Yorkshire & Lincolnshire Based Photographer
Ready to capture those special memories you can view for years to come.
A little about me..
Hi, I'm Steve! A creative photographer from a little seaside town on the East Yorkshire coast.
I'm a singer and play a few different instruments: guitar, mandolin, ukulele, and a little bit of piano,
Adrenaline Junkee!, Scuba Diver and a big fan of festivals, especially ones by a beach. My favourite singers are Ben Howard, Damien Rice & Jack Johnson. I love most kinds of music, but my all time favourite song has to be 'Time' by Hans Zimmer. Its such a powerful song which helps me when I really need to think. Thats what I love most about music, it can create or make you feel an emotion that would cease to exist otherwise.
I featured on a successful TV Commercial for Match.com singing on the platform of a train station.
Graduated from the Arden school of theatre in 2011 and since then I have been a member of a Frankie Valli tribute band (Jersey Boys) which has taken me all over the UK, Ireland and as far as Dubai. Spending so much time on the road got me really hooked onto photography because I frequently visited areas of the country I hadn't been before, there were endless amounts of photographic opportunities and I'm fortunate that this line of work allowed me to have lots of free time to explore and document my journey.
I'm fully self taught when it comes to photography but I feel this does not reflect in the images I produce. In my spare time I'm always trying to better myself , so usually have ongoing projects to get me out of the house and also learn new techniques during the editing process on software such as Photoshop or Final Cut Pro X. A good example of this is with the video below, produced last year when I travelled New Zealand
Before you begin, sit back, turn the sound up and enjoy the short video below:
